At Your Funeral is a deathcore band out of Lynwood, California. They came to life in late summer of 2005, by Emilio and Diego on guitar, Chris on vocals and Brian on drums. Soon after a few months, Chris announced his departure from At Your Funeral in Late of 2005. In early 2006, Miguel joined in on vocals and Brian was kicked out of the band due to lack of dedication. Soon after Brian’s departure from the band, Sal came in on drums fitting perfectly into the group's sound. For a while, At Your Funeral continued to play without a bassist until the middle of 2006 Peter came in on bass. In 2007, Peter was also released due to lack of commitment. Again, the band continued to play without a bassist until Damian decided to join.
With this perfect line up, they continued to make their music more experimental by mixing gravity blasts and half times. Their music is filled with heavy riffs from some of their death metal influences, slams & skull crushing breakdowns.
Playing & Headlining various shows in the state of California, At Your Funeral built a sizable fan base bringing death metal and hardcore together with rotting emotions and anger which is the subject of their lyrics. In spring of 2008, At Your Funeral played the main stage at their first fest, Spring Breakdown. In summer 2008, the band did their first and final tour.
