Another well known band to rise up from the Los Angeles area was We Are The End. We Are The End or also known as WATE to their fans, was a five-piece deathcore band from Los Angeles, CA with members also from the Fullerton/Anaheim area that was born in 2005. The band consisted of vocalist Spencer Aragon, guitarists Brandyn Love and Mychal Wright, bassist Shaun-Matthew Paramore and drummer David Crough.
The band released their first demo The Skies Most Wanted in 2007 which actually featured three guitarists on the recordings. They later went into the studio to record their EP If I Should Die in 2009. The EP gained much acclaim from online metal review sites as well as music publications like Highwire Daze and AP Magazine.
After multiple shows and tours planned, the group was picked up by famous metal label, Metal Blade Records which features artists like Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, As I Lay Dying, Whitechapel and Job For A Cowboy. The band was set to record their debut full length but Brandyn and Spencer left the band which led to loss of interest from the label and they were dropped from Metal Blade. In 2010, the band announced their breakup online.
Brandyn and Spencer decided to continue on with a new project called Inspired By You which is a band as well as a clothing label created by Brandyn.
